Meet Suzy...
Hey, I’m a mumma, dancer and dance teacher living the Crystal Palace life with my husband and little dance buddy who was born in May 2022
Dancing’s been my groove since toddler ballet days, and I’ve been at it ever since, from jazz to tap. As an adult I discovered the swing dance scene, teaching adult classes in swing and solo Charleston.
When I became a mum I craved a movement class for both of us. So, Dance Baby Dance was born – classes for parents wearing their little ones in slings or carriers. I can’t wait to share the joy of dance with you at Dance Baby Dance classes.
What's Going On...
Dance Baby Dance classes are designed to be taken while wearing your baby in a sling or carrier and are thirty minutes long. No previous dance experience is necessary. We’ll learn fun dance moves and short routines to an eclectic mix of music of many genres, from Pop to Rock, Jazz to Rap, Bowie to Beyoncé
We dance to music that’ll really make you want to move, saving the nursery rhymes for another time.
I choreograph all routines with safety and welfare in mind, and classes are suitable for babies from birth through to around 15 months (when they start to want to explore more on their own or get a bit too heavy for long stints in the carrier)! Classes are fun and high energy with space to breathe and relax when needed, and give us a time to come together in the joy of dance.
